Welcome to Stand Up For Stem Cells. We are a brand new non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for all facets of stem cell research. We believe that embryonic stem cells have the potential to heal, improve, and possibly even save lives. The only way to find out what the possibilities are is to financially support the safe and ethical research that so many brilliant scientists are willing to conduct.

Scientists at world renowned institutions are working hard to make the science become reality. For so many of us that have been touched by conditions like Spinal Cord Injury, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Diabetes, even Cancer -- this research offers all of us hope, where for so long there has been none. Equally important, world-class universities are developing programs to teach students not only about stem cells, but about other important aspects of the research, namely bioethics.

As is often the case, money is the biggest barrier to achieving these scientific goals. Embryonic Stem Cell Research- the most promising-is done purely with private funding and no help from the government so it is up to us to make it happen.
